After leaving San Francisco and the west coast in 1998,
Gary Lichtenstein headed back east. In 2000, Lichtenstein
established a studio in a renovated barn in Ridgefield,
Connecticut. The environment within Gary Lichtenstein’s
studio underscores the importance of place. The range
of work produced, over the years, at Gary Lichtenstein
Editions is astonishing and entirely attributable to
a space that encourages and inspires the emergence
of art, both conceptually and productively.
